Logs
The Logs pane shows a running record of everything ArenaDirector is doing behind the scenes. You will rarely need it during a normal event, but it is the first place to look — or to share — when something is not behaving as expected.
Open it by selecting the gear icon in the left sidebar, then choosing Logs under the Application group.
View the logs
The log list updates in real time. Each entry shows a timestamp, a severity level, and a short message.
Severity levels from least to most serious: DEBUG, INFO, WARNING, CRITICAL, FATAL.
To focus on a specific area, use the filter bar at the top:
- Level — show only entries at or above a chosen severity.
- Module — show only entries from a particular part of the application.
- Category — narrow further within a module.
- Context... — type any text to match entries that contain it.
Select Clear Filters to reset all filters and see the full log again.
Select Clear Logs to remove all current entries from the view. This does not affect what ArenaDirector is doing — it just clears the display.
The entry count at the bottom of the pane shows how many entries are currently visible.
Share logs when reporting a problem
If support asks for your logs, use the filters to isolate the relevant entries, then take a screenshot of the log view or copy the messages they need. Sharing the exact text of WARNING, CRITICAL, or FATAL entries is most helpful.
