First launch
The first time you open ArenaDirector after installing, a short setup wizard appears before the main interface. It walks you through the most common configuration choices so the app is ready to use straight away. Each step is optional — you can skip any step, or the whole wizard, and make the same choices later in Settings.
The wizard does not appear on subsequent launches. If you want to revisit any of the settings it covers, open the relevant section of Settings directly.
Steps
The wizard moves through six screens in order. A row of dots along the top tracks your position. A Back button appears on every step after the first, so you can revisit an earlier step.
Welcome
Introduces the wizard and the option to skip it. Select Skip setup at any point to close the wizard immediately and open the main interface with default settings.
Crash reporting
ArenaDirector can send anonymous crash reports to help improve the app's stability. The reports contain technical information about what the app was doing at the time of the crash — they never include personal data, audio, video, or project files.
Toggle crash reporting on or off, then select Next. You can change this setting at any time in Settings → Application.
Audio output
Choose the audio device that ArenaDirector will use for its main mix, and assign it to channels 1 and 2. If no audio devices are detected, a notice is shown and you can proceed — connect your audio interface and configure it later in Settings → Audio.
Display output
Choose the display that ArenaDirector will use for its main video canvas. If no external displays are connected, a notice is shown and you can proceed — assign a display later in Settings → Outputs.
Media library
Choose the folder on your computer that contains your audio and video files. ArenaDirector scans the folder and makes its contents available in the media library. You can add more folders, remove folders, or re-scan at any time in Settings → Library.
Done
Confirms your choices. Select Finish to close the wizard and open the main interface.
