Mass edit

Mass Edit Slots lets you change the same setting across many slots at once — useful when you want to recolor an entire layer or reassign a group of slots to a different mixer before an event.

Select the slots to edit

Open the Configuration window (the gear icon in the left sidebar), then select Mass Edit. The pane shows every layer with all of its slots laid out in a grid.

Select individual slots by clicking them — a highlighted border appears when a slot is selected. You can also use the checkboxes in the header row and left column of each layer's grid to select whole columns, whole rows, or the entire layer at once (clicking a header checkbox a second time deselects all slots in that column, row, or layer). The button bar at the top shows the current count as Apply to N Slots.

To remove all selections at once, select Clear Selection.

Apply a change across slots

The Settings to Apply panel at the top of the page has three settings you can push to all selected slots at the same time. Each has a checkbox next to it — tick the checkbox to include that setting in the next apply:

  • Background — pick a background color for the slot buttons. Click the color swatch to open the color picker (Select Background Color).
  • Font — pick a text color for the slot labels. Click the color swatch to open the color picker (Select Font Color).
  • Mixers — choose one or more mixers from the dropdown. Every selected slot will be routed to those mixers when you apply.

When you are ready, select Apply to N Slots. The change is written to every selected slot immediately and the selection is cleared.

Changes apply immediately and cannot be undone

Mass edit writes to all selected slots as soon as you select Apply to N Slots. There is no undo. Double-check your selection and your chosen settings before applying, especially when reassigning mixers across a large number of slots.
